Ventilation Installation

Ventilation systems are fundamental mechanical infrastructure that directly impacts indoor comfort, health, and safety, playing a significant role in energy efficiency and operating costs. At Inntech, our goal is to provide reliable, efficient, and sustainable fresh air, humidity, odor, and particulate control in buildings and industrial processes through sound engineering, appropriate equipment selection, and interdisciplinary integration.

Scope of Service

Inntech's ventilation services include the following scope:

  • Needs analysis and indoor air quality (IAQ) assessment

  • Preliminary project and detailed engineering (air flow, ducting, acoustics, energy calculations)

  • Central and local ventilation solutions (AHU, rooftop, fan coil, exhaust systems)

  • Heat recovery (HRV/ERV) ventilation designs

  • Filtration solutions (multi-stage particle and gas removal, HEPA applications)

  • Smoke control, negative/positive pressure applications and fire damper integration

  • Special designs for special areas such as kitchens, laboratories, operating rooms, data centers

  • Assembly, balancing, functional testing and commissioning

  • BMS/SCADA integration, sensor-based control and remote monitoring

  • Periodic maintenance, filtration replacement, cleaning, performance tests and 24/7 support

System Components

A successful ventilation system is made possible by the right combination of components:

  • Air Handling Unit (AHU) / Rooftop: It houses filtration, heat recovery, humidity control and fan units.

  • Ductwork: It is designed to minimize pressure drop and comply with acoustic and sealing criteria.

  • Fans and Drivers: Energy efficient, VSD controlled fans when required.

  • Filter Systems: Critical filter solutions such as pre-filtration, fine particle filters, activated carbon or HEPA.

  • Heat Recovery Devices (HRV/ERV): It provides energy savings by recovering indoor-outdoor air energy.

  • Exhaust and Fresh Air Hoods: Local waste/exhaust extraction and fresh air intake arrangements.

  • Control & Sensors: Ventilation according to demand with CO₂, VOC, humidity, temperature, pressure differential and particle meters.

  • Acoustic and Damping Elements: Duct and unit solutions for noise and vibration control.

Design Principles and Dimensioning

A specific engineering approach is followed for each project:

  • Based on actual usage profile, person density and process needs air flow rates is determined.

  • Piping/ducting optimization is performed by taking into account pressure drop, channel lengths and device efficiencies.

  • Acoustic limits (dB levels), vibration isolation and adjacent space comfort are taken into account.

  • Pressure management (positive/negative) and classification are applied in critical volumes (operating room, laboratory, clean-room).

  • Heat recovery, demand-based control and segmentation strategies are developed in line with energy efficiency targets.

Energy Efficiency & Optimization

Ventilation systems are one of the largest energy users in buildings, so Inntech applies the following approaches:

  • Energy optimization according to the load profile with VSD controlled fans.

  • Maximum use of fresh air energy with heat recovery systems.

  • Prevention of unnecessary fresh air ventilation with demand-controlled ventilation (CO₂, VOC sensors).

  • Continuous improvement through performance monitoring, energy analyses and annual optimization reports.

Safety, Air Quality and Compliance

  • Designs are prepared in line with local legislation, TSE and relevant building/occupational health standards.

  • Smoke control, gas/chemical detectors and automatic shut-off devices are integrated in critical projects.

  • Filtration strategies are scaled to the relevant sectoral requirements (food, healthcare, pharmaceutical); appropriate classroom solutions are implemented for areas requiring HEPA/ULPA.

  • Microorganism formation is minimized by condensate drainage, leakage and moisture control.

Assembly, Balancing and Commissioning

  • Field installation is carried out with quality control procedures; duct sealing, duct insulation and support systems are checked.

  • Air flow balancing, static pressure measurements, acoustic measurements and function tests are performed.

  • During commissioning, IAQ measurements (CO₂, particles, humidity, temperature) verify that the target values are met.

  • User training, operation manual and maintenance plans are delivered.

Maintenance & Lifecycle Management

  • System efficiency is maintained with regular filtration replacement and unit cleaning plans.

  • Periodic performance tests, leakage checks and acoustic evaluations are performed.

  • In critical projects, rapid action is guaranteed with spare parts supply, 24/7 fault response line and remote monitoring.

  • Performance degradation is eliminated through renewal and modernization services; energy consumption is reduced through retrofitting.

Sectoral and Special Applications

Inntech offers customized solutions based on the needs of different sectors:

  • Health facilities: Tight pressure, filtration and reduntant solutions for operating rooms, intensive care and laboratories.

  • Food and medicine: Hygienic material selection, particle control and clean air classification.

  • Industry: Control of process-related emissions, local exhaust and air purification.

  • Commercial/Office: Comfort-oriented, demand-adapted ventilation and acoustic optimization.

  • Kitchen and restaurant: High capacity exhaust, isolation of oil and odor, fire safety integration.
